basically before exams wat do we do??
we positively visualize(sowie da comm studies effect is still there)..
we squeeze our eyes shut and hope very hard..
we stick 3 joystick in an orange and make a wish..
we do da yoga pose and call da universe to us..
Mmm but for wat ah??
for EASIER paper la!!
Thats generally da story..But here in ntu (and many other unis i think) we have sumthing special.. sumthing irreplaceble.. sumthing tat all students love to hate.. sumthing we will love to bury in da middle of da nite..
DA BELLCURVE!!
So after exams we come out and we grunt..
Exam too hard we grunt..cos dunno how to do..
exam too easy we oso grunt.. y?? cos scared tat da bell curve is too to da right.. will affect our grades..( since ntu students are abnormally bright it magnifies da effect)
TEE NYAH KUEH RITE!!
so in da end wat do we have?? a group of grunting and groaning students..
Hallo ppl up there.. very fun ah torturing us??
no wonder ppl say ppl in singapore like to complain..
now we know why..

mmm... u know, if u look at it this way: since it's a bellcurve, then it does not matter how you feel you did... and so the matter is closed until result comes out, wouldn't it be much less stressful? anw, isn't the bellcurve used for quite awhile also in malaysia? that's why it's so easy to get A in malaysia, because there are so many u-know-whos filling the bottom... ;) now isn't bellcurve a good thing in this sense?
boon: depends on wat kinda person u are i guess.. but in da end we complain n we get over it.. n since i am not studying in malaysia i dun really care how da bell curve works in malaysia.. its all about here and now..haihz
