A great man with a mission,
to spread happiness to the people,
through his quest for kosen-rufu.
A man of great wit,
intelligence and compassion,
ever ready to share his wisdom.
The last lap to buddhahood,
and to eternal happiness,
Accompanied by the sonorous rhythm of chants,
By his comrades of faith,
Something beautiful all believers wish for.
End of the journey of life,
Honorable mission achieved,
Time to rest ,
And return to the cosmic.
Rest in peace,
Your presence will be sorely missed,
but your footsteps in this world will always be remembered,
Forever.
