Danang - day 1 and a 1/2

Woke up at the crack of dawn ( and i seriously mean crack, not a hole , a tear ,etc.. its the CRACK of dawn) --> translation --> uber babi early and prepared to go to My Son (ancient sites of Hindu inspired temples) Took an hour drive from Danang beach to get there.
I could see many a interesting sight as we passed by the smaller villages and you can catch a glimpse of life at the countryside. Saw some lakes with blooming lotus, passed by a funeral, saw cows ploughing the paddy fields, saw a village celebration and much more that is beyond word-ly description.
As for My Son, It was really interesting as you get to see all kinds of interesting structures, The most interesting thing for me is that 70% of its Buddha statues are headless.. Makes you wonder where in the world did the heads go? Did a very strong dog bit it off, or that they put in a steel rod into the heads when sculpting so that when lightning strikes,it strikes the head? Or its just the entrepeneurial spirit where they knock it off to sell and gain profit ( economics 101) I am betting a thousand million percent on human nature ! wanna take a bet??
We then headed back to the beach for lunch. ( Note : There is no mentioning about shopping here.. y? cos i didn't la!! FASTER CLAP HANDS!!)
Lunch was as interesting as a AVRIL concert i tell you.. We had LOBSTER.. Celaka its damn big la..
And what they do? They first 'MILK' it (Note : they drink the 'milk' Trang's father offered me some but no way in the land of flying blue neon blinking pigs will i drink it la) They then had sashimi lobster( which was by the way decorated VERY nicely-- pictures on facebook:P) The hotpot lobster ( steamboat in Singapore and Malaysian terms) super uber duper babi interesting la..
ooo later there is nothing else to do but to chill at the beach.. so windy so relaxing!! ARGH!
